Merry Christmas! That’s it. You get no more Christmas in this show. We still have fun meandering around some movie talk, the old days of warming up the television and hand turning 30 foot tall antennas in thunderstorms. Then, Brian says “Why Jersey” and Mick goes off about Jersey and the built in attitude. Like movies, it has a lot to do with shared experience.
Happy Thanksgiving to those in the States! We’ve been watching movies and giving thanks for all of you! Believe it or not, Mick and Brian do not have an argument on this episode. Instead they discuss Spiderman, Ghostbusters: Afterlife, crypto currency and lots more. Enjoy!
New Flicks including DUNE, SOHO, RUST and Antlers

Mick and Brian have something in common. We love NIC CAGE! We spend this episode loving on some Nic Cage. We welcome back Brendan Fraser to the screen, joyously! Directors’ trademark styles, watching more movies toward the 365 films in 365 days challenge. Mick has a great breakdown of A24 projects.
Mick and Brian are just two buddies talking about movies. Today Brian learns about Tony Scott’s filmography, Mick loved CANDYMAN, we both go on about MARVEL phases 1-3 and finally we talk a bit about movies as time capsules.
I don’t know how we have a filmmaking podcast and take so long to get into the film talk. Alas, we’ve done it again! We start with celebrity hall passes and crushes then we get personal about dating style. Are movies a good first date, there’s room for debate.
This show is a long one and we have a blast! We eventually get to the crux of the show discussing writer's rooms, writers and all the ways a script can be changed if it along the chain from writer final edit. Make sure to visit Mick over at The Scene Snobs and Brian...

So much can happen between shows! This week we discuss, with little enthusiasm, the 2021 OSCARS and while Mick enjoyed the new format he and Brian both feel they got some of the winners wrong. What's an annual OSCARS show without a rant? Mick's channel, The Scene...
Brian and Mick took a hot minute off without skipping a show. That’s how dedicated we are! But wow, were we feeling rusty. While we were away Brian took a break from movies and binged all of Battlestar Galactica. All of it. Mick took some time off from the mic and enjoyed The Falcon and the Winter Soldier.
This week we have stunt performer Geoff Scovell! Geoff does stunts on some great shows like 12 Monkeys, The Boys, The Strain, SEE, X-Men and much, much more. Geoff gives us insight on how stunts are created and performed safely. Mick and I learned so much about the life of stunt performers.

There is nothing to say except WE INTERVIEWED MICHAEL PARE’! Star of dozens of films, recognizable character actor from dozens more. Michael Pare’ is a handsome charmer who tells it like it is. This interview was an absolute delight for Mick and Brian.
